Micro Inscription Plaques
Phoenix has supplied small plaques such as 90 x 65mm for many years. These are used in gardens or
on walls as cremation memorials. With the normal plaque manufacturing process it is not possible to
produce clear readable inscription less than 16 point (4mm) font size. At Phoenix our research and
development team has recently increased our capacity for casting more text on smaller plaques
whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality in reproduction.
With our new process, we are able to produce much finer detail in cast bronze. This applies to
both inscription and motifs.
All colour and surface texture options are available with Micro Inscription plaques.
Helvetica font is recommended. More complex fonts may be possible but Phoenix
designers should be consulted.

Other applications for Micro Inscription plaques include:
> Group Memorials: using 70 x 30mm plates fixed to a base plaque. Inscription limit of 3
lines could be increased to 5 or 6 lines.
> Honour Rolls: Inscription size together with number of names usually means honour
role plaques can be quite large. The size can be significantly reduced with micro inscription.
